On the basis of East-Ukrainian National University named after Volodymyr Dahl, regional information open competition «Infotech» among students grades 8-11 schools, specialized schools and after-school facilities, members of communal establishment "Lugansk Oblast was Academy of Sciences youth" ("LOMANUM").

The contest made by the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, "LOMANUM" supported by the Faculty of Computer Systems and Technologies and the Department of Systems Engineering East Ukrainian National University named after Volodymyr Dahl. Intelligent event held to support talented young people, improving pre-professional training for students on the basics of science and the introduction of computer technology in the educational process.

The competition was attended by thirteen teams from Lugansk, Alchevsk, Stakhanov, Pervomayskaya Krasnodon and city of Rivne and team part-time school "LOMANUM." The level of knowledge and abilities of students in computer science and computer technologies assessed competent jury headed by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Computer Systems and Technologies Dahl University PhD, Associate Professor Oleg Lehtsiyerom.
